The legend behind Flor de Pita is Arnaldo Laurencio, who established the company in 1968. Born and raised in Camagüey, Cuba, one of the most storied cigar regions in the world, he was infatuated with cigars from the very beginning. From the day he opened his cigar store, he wanted nothing more than to provide his friends and family with the best cigars around.

His goal was simple: obtain the finest tobacco there is. Today his grandson, Erik, continues that legacy: every Pita cigar is still hand-rolled in small batches, using Nicaraguan long-filler tobacco and the same techniques passed down through three generations. Nothing shortcut, nothing outsourced.
