The Birth of the Greatest Cigar

A Family Legacy Since 1968

The legend behind Flor de Pita is Arnaldo Laurencio, who established the company in 1968. Born and raised in Camagüey, Cuba, one of the most storied cigar regions in the world, he was infatuated with cigars from the very beginning. From the day he opened his cigar store, he wanted nothing more than to provide his friends and family with the best cigars around.

His goal was simple: obtain the finest tobacco there is. Today his grandson, Erik, continues that legacy: every Pita cigar is still hand-rolled in small batches, using Nicaraguan long-filler tobacco and the same techniques passed down through three generations. Nothing shortcut, nothing outsourced.

The Craft of Three Generations

From leaves cured in the Nicaraguan sun to the band that seals every finished cigar, nothing at Pita is rushed and nothing is delegated to a machine.

  1. Hand-Selected Leaf

    Every leaf is personally inspected by our master blenders, sourced from twelve tobacco-growing regions worldwide.

  2. Slow-Cured & Aged

    Wrappers ferment for a minimum of 18 months, and every blend rests in Spanish cedar for at least three years.

  3. Rolled by Masters

    No shortcuts, no machines. Every cigar passes a certified master roller and has earned 40+ ratings of 93 points or higher.
